Ziel des Symposiums ist die Diskussion des
aktuellen Konsensus zur Pathophysiologie von Abstoßungsreaktionen
nach Hornhauttransplantation. Zusätzlich sollen neue
Forschungsergebnisse, z.B. aus dem Babyrattenmodell der
Keratoplastik in diesen Kontext eingeordnet sowie adäquate
Präventions- und Behandlungsstrategien aufgezeigt werden.
An overview of accepted knowledge on pathomechanisms in
corneal graft rejection will be presented. Additionally, new
research, i.e. from the baby rat model of penetrating keratoplasty
will be discussed. A second focus will be on adequate strategies
of prophylaxis and treatment of graft rejection.
