By car

The motorway out of Berlin is in the form of a star.
From Munich, Frankfurt/Main and Dortmund use the A10 Berliner Ring, then the A115 and
the A100 Stadtautobahn (city motorways), exit Grenzallee.
From Hamburg or Rostock use the A10 and then the A111, then the A115 and the A100 Statdtautobahn, exit Grenzallee.
From Dresden, Cottbus and Frankfurt/Oder follow the B96 until Baumschulenstraße, then turn into the Sonnenallee.

Environmental Zone
Please note that you will need a special sticker to drive into the city centre by car since Berlin has been declared as environmental zone on 1st January 2008. The Estrel hotel is located outside of the environmental zone. Further information also in English available under: www.berlin.de/umweltzone.



Parking

There is limited parking space close to the Estrel hotel. The costs for a day ticket for parking at the Estrel Hotel are € 15.

–– From Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) via bus M41, stop Ziegrastraße
–– From Ostbahnhof via S-Bahn S5, S75 or S9 to Ostkreuz, change to S41 until stop

–– Airport Tegel: city motorway 100/102, exit Grenzallee, ca. 30 Min.
–– Airport Tempelhof: city motorway 102, exit Grenzallee, ca. 10 Min.
–– Airport Schönefeld: follow B96a until Baumschulenstraße, turn into Sonnenallee, ca. 20 Min.

Public Transport Fares

(valid two hours in the same direction, fare zone AB)

Day ticket € 6,10
(valid to 3:00 am the following day, zone AB)

Schönefeld Airport will be from April 2008 out of the fare zone AB. A ticket for the fare zone ABC at the price of 2,80 € will have to be bought in order to get to the congress venue or to the city center.
